What is Teen Court?!
The Dublin – Laurens County Teen Court is a program where youth who have committed first time misdemeanor crimes are sentenced through a court system of their peers. Defense and prosecution attorneys, clerks, bailiffs, and jurors are volunteers from both middle and high schools. Adult attorneys and judges in the community volunteer to trail all youth volunteers.
When do we meet?
Teen Court volunteers meet once a month for court sessions. Teen Attorneys will meet one day prior to court to meet with their potential clients.
