The City of Dublin, along with five other communities across the state, graduated on September 25th from the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing (GICH) Program at the Fall Retreat in Douglasville, Georgia.
Mayor Phil Best was the keynote speaker at the GICH graduation luncheon.
Launched in 2004, GICH helps communities improve their quality of life and economic vitality through the development of housing and revitalization strategies. The GICH Program offers communities a three-year program of collaboration and technical assistance related to housing and community development. The objective of the Initiative is to help communities create and launch a locally based plan to meet their housing needs.
Since the start of Dublin’s participation in 2016, all items of the City’s GICH work plan were accomplished. Thank you to all of the GICH Team partners for your participation!
