We have to give a huge shoutout to our amazing City Clerk, Heather Browning! On May 28, 2025, she represented Dublin, GA at Governor Kemp’s office for the annual signing of the City Clerk Proclamation, and we couldn't be prouder!
Heather does so much for us behind the scenes at City Hall that many people don’t see. From taking minutes during our council meetings to documenting cemetery plots and organizing customer service training sessions, she’s always busy making sure things run smoothly. And let’s not forget her creative side! Heather crafts beautiful centerpieces for retirement parties and decks our Christmas trees with holiday cheer. She’s a true team player and always ready to lend a hand!
"I love being a city clerk! It allows me to serve my community every day by helping residents access vital information and ensuring that city operations run efficiently. Working at the heart of local government allows me to engage with people, deepen my understanding of how our city functions, and promote transparency and accountability. Each day presents new challenges and variety, and I appreciate the problem-solving involved as well as the trust placed in me to manage sensitive information. I take pride in bringing purpose and direction to my role, knowing that my efforts contribute to building a stronger, more connected community," shares Heather Browning.
