Happy Natural Gas Workers' Day!
Shout out to the dedicated City of Dublin Natural Gas Utility Workers, your tireless efforts ensure that our energy is delivered safely and reliably each day. We see you, and we appreciate you!
This day is dedicated to honoring the individuals who make certain that our natural gas systems are safe, efficient, and reliable. March 18 was specifically chosen to commemorate the tragic school explosion in New London, Texas, in 1937, which prompted significant improvements in safety standards for natural gas.
Laurens Utility Coordinating Council (LUCC) Quarterly Meetings
Our very own Brad Grimes (Chairman), Eric Kates (Vice Chairman), and Yvonne Baker (Secretary) lead and organize the Laurens Utility Coordinating Council (LUCC) meetings.
These quarterly meetings aim to foster relationships among utilities, contractors, and locators in and around the City of Dublin and Laurens County. The group conducts a meet-and-greet/open-floor session to discuss current and upcoming projects.
If you would like to join the next LUCC meeting, RSVP at bakery@dublinga.org.
