Description

The City of Dublin, Georgia, located in Laurens County, is seeking candidates for the position of City Planner. This position is responsible for performing professional planning activities involving land use, planning, development, and related special projects, as well as organizing and directing the overall administration of the city’s long-range planning and development goals.

Salary range is $74,044 - $114,768, and placement is based on qualifications and experience.  An extensive fringe benefits package, including health, dental, and life insurance, is also offered.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications are knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a Master’s degree in a course of study related to the occupational field, experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the work of subordinate positions to be able to answer questions and resolve problems, usually associated with five to seven years of experience or service, a valid Georgia Driver’s license, and pass a drug test. Previous government employment experience focused on planning and development is preferred.
