Public Works is responsible for Dublin's municipal cemeteries and streets. Public Works is made up of 38 full-time employees and umbrellas the compliance, construction, and maintenance of the following utility and infrastructure divisions: Cemeteries, Natural Gas, Stormwater Management, Streets, Water Distribution, and Wastewater Collection. Public Works is considered the heart of every municipality and largely influences what makes any community a great place to live, work, and visit. In Dublin, we strive to provide our citizens with the very best municipal services in order to attract business and industry to our community, keeping us green and growing. We set goals and measure our performance based on the management practices of the American Public Works Association. We are committed to training our staff through APWA and becoming an accredited agency in the coming years.
