Wastewater Plant Operator III

Description
The City of Dublin has an opening for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator III. Work involves the safe and efficient operation of the sewage treatment plant during an assigned shift. The work involves covering a large working area that contains several operating units of the sewage treatment system. Work is reviewed by the supervisor who checks records and charts and makes daily inspection through the plants to check condition and upkeep of equipment. Work is performed under the direction of the Wastewater Plant Superintendent.
Starting salary is $37,222.61 annually for a trainee or $41,428.74 annually for a Class III Operator. An extensive fringe benefit package including health, dental and life insurance is also offered.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and have a high school diploma or GED. Possession of a valid State of Georgia Driver's License. Requires a Class “III” Operator's License in both water and wastewater treatment as issued by the State of Georgia or the ability to acquire both licenses within one (1) year of employment.
